Ice Wizard: The damage of Ice Wizard has been increased by 10% and the hit speed has been increased to 1.7 seconds instead of 1.5 seconds.Dark Prince: The damage of Dark Prince has been increased by 6% and the hit speed has been reduced to 1.4 seconds from 1.5 seconds.Xbox and Mortar: The deploy time has been reduced to 3.5 seconds from 4 seconds.Mini P.E.K.K.A: The damage of Mini P.E.K.K.A has been increased by 4.6%.Electro Wizard: The hitpoints of Electro Wizard have been decreased by 2%.Heal: The duration of Heal spell has been decreased to 2.5 seconds from 3 seconds.Also, the bat spawn speed has been increased to 7 seconds from 6 seconds and on death it spawns only 2 bats instead of 3 Night Witch: The damage of Night Witch has been reduced by 9% and the range by 11%.Graveyard: The duration has been reduced to 9sec from 10 seconds and it is spawning only 15 skeletons instead of 17.Battle Ram: The Battle Ram takes a bit longer to begin charging and the Barbarians are spawning slower.The new balance update that has just been released for Clash Royale is coming with a few changes for Battle Ram, Graveyard, Night Witch and more.Ĭlash Royale: New Balance Update (Changes) The developers from Supercell have mentioned that the way they approach card balance in this game is a combination of “play testing.” They’ve confirmed that they are continuously listening to the community and that they are also looking at the stats. The changes are not that “drastic,” as the previous balance updates, but we’re pretty sure that most of you want to know what’s new. So that is going to be all for this round of balance changes for April 19th. ARCHERS Hit Speed: -0.2sec 18 faster WHY Archers are overshadowed by other ranged support cards, particularly Dart Goblin. This change will allow her to shoot a target faster after locking on. Maybe this time it will work its way into the main game. First Hit: -0.4sec 40 faster WHY Firecracker sometimes doesn’t shoot when there are enemies right in front of her (looking at you, Skeleton Army). Lastly we have the lumberjack which has had like 5 straight buffs. A buff was important to bring it back up to the meta. It used to be super OP, but bug fixes have changed it to a pretty weak card. The goblin hut has really fallen behind to the furnace, so giving it the furnace’s 5% HP means it should be used a bit more.

We had only three buffs in the April balance changes but they are important. Lastly, the skeleton army got a skeleton nerf, which seems like a bit much to me. Also balloon damage was changed to be more consistent with the giant skeleton. Electro wizard was starting to feel a bit overpowered, so this might tone him back a bit. The e-wiz also got a reduction, but with its hit speed. Furnace will be more vulnerable to spell damage with its HP reduction. Also, having the first attack come slower will help with timing of defensive troops. Elite barbarians definitely needed a solid nerf and I think they got one in their HP reductions. Royal giant got a good nerf: I think deploy time will help be able to counter it more than a HP or damage nerf. The nerfs are the real story behind this set of balance changes! You have 5 of the most popular cards being nerfed in the RG, EBs, furnace, EW, and skarmy.
